Jay Foreman is a former NFL Linebacker. Foreman played for the Buffalo Bills, Houston Texans, New York Giants, and San Francisco 49ers. In his NFL career he totaled 509 tackles, 4.5 sacks, 14 passes defended, 3 forced fumbles, and 5 fumble recoveries (stats collected from Jay Foreman on & Jay Foreman on In addition to Foreman's NFL career he was a 3-time National Champion (1994, 1995, 1997) while playing College Football for the University of Nebraska Cornhuskers. Jay Foreman is also the son of former NFL Great, Running Back Chuck Foreman.

Jay Foreman is part of the management team of Midwest Holding, a Nebraska based financial holding company that started the first Nebraska-based life insurance company in over 35 years. Jay’s specific focus is in corporate development. He has recently become the Executive Vice president of Hot Dot Inc., a type 2 medical device company that produces the “Hot Dot alert patch” that helps alert people to when their core body temperature reaches a level that might lead to a heat related illness. In collaboration with the University of Nebraska athletic department, Jay established an internship program, the purpose of which is to provide athletes with work experience in the areas of sales and marketing, while learning about the corporate structure. These opportunities are designed to assist the athletes during their lives after sports. Along with his business success, Mr. Foreman has established himself throughout the country as a professional speaker. His unique background in professional sports as well as business has helped Jay uses those experiences to speak to High Schools, Colleges, Corporations and Associations over the years.

In college Jay was an All-Big 12 Conference Selection for Nebraska and played 9 years in the NFL. A four-year letter winner, he served as a starting linebacker during the 1995 and 1997 national championship seasons. He ranks 14th on the Huskers' all-time tackles chart with 233 and was the team captain his senior year. In 1998 Foreman was a semi-finalist for the Dick Butkus award.

Mr. Foreman made two postseason appearances during his 9 year NFL career and joined the Houston Texans during their first three seasons as a franchise. Jay was named one of the Texan’s team captains held the title for 3 years. He achieved five consecutive seasons of over 100 tackles, two of which he recorded over 200 tackles and a grand total of 937 in his career.

While playing football at the University of Nebraska, Jay earned a BS degree in Business Administration in 3 ½ years. During his NFL off-seasons, he completed an MBA at Harvard University. During his time in Houston he began a charitable foundation known as "Foreman Friends", an organization that assisted abused, underprivileged kids in group-homes. Jay also used this platform help fight diabetes and feed needy families on Thanksgiving.

Jay is the son of Minnesota Viking great and five time pro bowler, Chuck Foreman.
