Welcome to Week 6 of the NFL Regular Season

Austin's take:

Oakland Raiders at Atlanta Falcons: I know, not a game you might think I'd pick to talk about. The Raiders coming off their bye week at full health for the first time all season are finally going to start surprising people. I expect Darren McFadden (100+ tot yds 1+ TD's) to give the Falcons D a headache all game long. Granted, Matt Ryan (275+ yds 2+ TD's), Julio Jones (100+ yds 1+ TD's), Roddy White, Tony Gonzalez, and Michael Turner are going to show up too. But, I like the Raiders +9.5.

Cincinnati at Cleveland: Trent Richardson (80+ tot yds 1+ TD's), BenJarvus Green-Ellis (80+ tot yds 1+ TD's). Josh Gordon and Andrew Hawkins are potentially good sleepers.

St. Louis Rams at Miami Dolphins: Brandon Gibson is a player to watch in this game or pick up if you need a fill in WR this week. Look for Miami's Run D to shut down Steven Jackson and Daryl Richardson. I look for Davone Bess (70+ yds 1+ TD's) to be the more successful WR out of he and Brian Hartline because Cortland Finnegan should blanket Hartline & Janoris Jenkins could struggle against Bess. Also, look for Reggie Bush (80+ tot yds 1+ TD's) to bounce back from last week.

Indianapolis Colts at New York Jets: This is a now or never game for the Jets, Mark Sanchez, and Shonn Greene (70+ yds 1 TD). If the Sanchez performs badly in this game you can expect the Tim Tebow hype to take over the Jets and force Rex Ryan into playing him a lot more. Jeremy Kerley and Dustin Keller could both be good sleppers.

Detroit Lions at Philadelphia Eagles: The Lions are coming off their bye week which should have allowed plenty of time for them to figure out how to get Matthew Stafford (250+ yds 1+ TD's) and Calvin Johnson (100+ yds 1+ TD's) going. I know all about the CB's for Philly but if you watch game tape of Nnamdi Asomugha you'll see that he is a shell of himself. I also expect Michael Vick (275+ tot yds 1+ TD's) to have a good game and LeSean McCoy is always a threat and Brent Celek could be Vick's favorite target in this one.

Kansas City Chiefs at Tampa Bay Buccaneers: This could be a field day for Jamaal Charles (100+ tot yds 1+ TD's) especially since the Chiefs will utilize the rum more with Matt Cassel out. I expect the Bucs will give the Chiefs a heavy dose of Doug Martin (80+ tot yds 1+ TD's) as well. A sleeper I really like in this game is Shaun Draugh, I've been talking about him for a few weeks now.

Dallas Cowboys at Baltimore Ravens: I fully expect Tony Romo (300+ yds 2+ TD's) to silence his critics for one week by hitting Miles Austin (80+ yds 1+ TD's) early and often. The line only being 3.5 should tell everyone the real experts that put their money where there mouth is expect this to be a closer game than most.

New England Patriots at Seattle Seahawks: I have two big expectations for this game; Russell Wilson (250+ tot yds 2+ TD's) and Sidney Rice (80+ tot yds 1+ TD's) have their best games of the season. Another "fishy" line too, 3 point line.

Buffalo Bills at Arizona Cardinals: I expect the real Kevin Kolb to stand up, in other words a guy that's starting in the NFL but shouldn't be. Look for Fred Jackson (80+ tot yds 1+ TD's), C.J. Spiller, and Stevie Johnson to give the Cards all they wan to the tune of at least 27 points. I like the Bills +4.5.

New York Giants at San Francisco 49ers: This will be a great game in between two great teams. The only things I have strong opinions on in this game is Vernon Davis (60+ yds 1+ TD's) and Michael Crabtree should have decent to good games.

Minnesota Vikings at Washington Redskins: This could be a very strange game. I once again expect Robert Griffin to struggle but I could definitely be wrong about that. Last week I said he'd throw for less than 200 yds and even though he got hurt late in the game, he more than likely wouldn't have. This week I'm worried about his mental state. I can't remember ever hearing a player say they can't play like that for their family's sake. and this is on top of him saying before his first preseason game he didn't want to get hit. So, if Griffin starts playing scared, I'm concerned for not only his fantasy football value moving forward but for his career in general.

Dallas Cowboys at Baltimore Ravens: This should be a good game. Look for the Tony Romo (275+ yds 1+ TD's) to be fresh after coming off the bye week and hit Miles Austin (85+ yds 1+ TD's) often in addition to Jason Witten. I see Joe Flacco having sub par game but Dennis Pitta (60+ yds 1+ TD's) finally bouncing back since the Smith and Boldin will have their hands full against the Cowboys CB's.

Green Bay Packers at Houston Texans: This will be a great game. The Texans considered to be one of the best teams in the NFL while the Packers are considered one of the biggest disappointments of the season thus far. I expect Green Bay to come out firing on all cylinders on offensive. Aaron Rodgers (275+ yds 3+ TD's) will hit Jordy Nelson (85+ yds 1+ TD's) early and often in addition to James Jones and Randall Cobb. However, Matt Schaub, Andre Johnson (75+ yds 1+ TD's), Owen Daniels, and Arian Foster will come to play too. At the end of the day I like Packers +4 on top of the highlighted players for Fantasy purposes.

Denver Broncos at San Diego Chargers: This will be a fun game to watch but there is a lot of uncertainty for me in this game. I think Ryan Mathews (80+ tot yds 1+ TD's) will have a good game but that's about all I have a strong opinion on.

Thursday Night Football: In tonight's game I like Ben Roethlisberger (250+ yds 2+ TD's) to hit Mike Wallace, Antonio Brown, and Heath Miller all night long without much resistance. It's hard to pick which WR/TE will do the best but I do expect Heath Miller to score at least 1 TD. Rashard Mendenhall looked surprisingly good last week all things considered. However, expect him to regress from his 101 tot yds, 1 TD, 5.2 ypc & 11.0 ypr performance from last week a bit this week due to time in between games and the seriousness of the injury he came off of. In addition to the the things highlighted for Fantasy Football purposes, I like the Steelers to win this game straight up. The Titans could be very tough in this game now that Hasselbeck, Britt, Washington, Cook, and CJnoK should all be close to 100%.
